Eh up, at last, I've found a place to publish my fanzine. Much better than the other free sites. Thats the sucking up ot of the way. In this site you'll find my eagerly anticipated fanzine. You'll be able to read reveiws for many games, hopefully some guides eventually and screens.
This page is a pretty slow loader, so all reviews etc will be downloadable. The page's main text will give you an idea of what is new and the like.
Well go on then, have a look around. It won't take long at the moment
A little about young Hondana:
A simply lovely young man, with a morbid fascination with computer games and debt. He is slogging through a Media Production and Journalism course at Lincoln University [you at the back! stop laughing], in fact, at the time of writing (11/12/03) he is halfway through. Instead of being a 2-dimensional person, Hondana also has an excellent taste in music and loves manga, filmage, drawing, writing, reading fantasy (note: i do not mean porn), playing ye old guitar, altering the video covers at Choices, and of course, being drunk. He is 20 years old, and the pic of tetsuo to your right... looks nothing like him.

At the moment...
Its been a month since I updated the site! Thats pretty lame, and its all because of the uni holiday, where I get drunk with the friends who have returned from uni. It will all be over soon, then I'll be back in a working mood; I'll get more done while I'm supposed to be at uni, when I should be doing other work.
Anyway, its not all lazing around, I'm playing through a number of games at the moment so that I'll be able to bring you some good reviews. Currently I'm working my way through the Japanese version of Tales of Symphonia, about 34 hours into it. I've got quite far too I believe, about 4 hours into the second world, I've only been stuck a couple of times, despite the language barrier. I recommend this to anyone with a soft spot for RPG's and the SNES, as there are many parallels to Namco's Tales of Phantasia which was a distant prequel and also on the snes, and which I'm now playing on the GBA. Along with that, I'm also jumping on heads with Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga which is a rather good little RPG from Alpha Dreams. Also, look out for reviews of Front Mission 3 on the PSOne in the Retro area soon, Megaman Network Transmission on the 'Cube, Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, and Rogue Squadron III, also on the 'Cube.
So yes, its been a Cubey month for me, with little happening on the XBox until Ninja Gaiden is released, and the PS2 hasn't hasn't drawn me recently either, though I have games to complete still, and reviews to write. Still, Square-Enix have some good releases coming up (over the next year) with Final Fantasy X-2 and XII, and hopefully Dragon Quest before long.
By the way, for anyone who is wondering whether or not to buy Rogue Leader III, DON'T DO IT!! I do not like this game, it is frustrating, and poorly developed, despite its good looks. It has brought the series down, and it will take a lot to bring it back again, especially if they insist on including those god awful on-foot sections. Bah.
To end, I'd like to know if anyone would like to see any walkthroughs, I have a few written in rough for Secret of Mana, and Evermore, and I can tell you now, I've found more Orbs in Mana than the other guides show you. If there is demand enough, I'll type it up and post it; I enjoyed making it and would like to do more, I'm currently putting one together for Tales of Symphonia. See ya later.
